The last two years I have spent the months of April to October as a wildland firefighter. This job became so much more than just something I would do for a summer while I decided what I would do as a “real job”. One of the most impactful fires for me my first season was Fish Creek in Wyoming. This painting came from it and was just begging to be made into prints. I will never get over the beauty and power of a raging wildfire.
