Hannah Cryder

Hannah Cryder is an artist based out of Gunnison, Colorado. Raised in Alaska she is a painter and illustrator whose work is inspired by her job as a wildland firefighter, avid outdoors-woman, and her childlike wonder for the world around her. Cryder graduated from Western Colorado University and received her BA in Studio Art and BS in Environmental Biology & Ecology. Cryder has showcased her work with a solo exhibition at the Gunnison Arts Center in 2022, and has public murals found in Alaska and in the Gunnison Valley. Cryder aims to inspire others to enjoy the act of creating in its different forms, and to get out and explore the world we live in. 

When she is not painting, you can find her outside fighting fire, riding horses, running ultras, hunting, hiking, biking, skiing, or reading a good book. Hannah Cryder loves the outdoors, and finds joy spending time in creation and with the Creator.
