One of my favorite series to date is a collection of ink drawn animals, each containing some kind of landscape within them, being apart of them. Salmon is a cornerstone species in Alaska providing jobs, food, and shaping the ecosystems and landscapes I call home. Sockeye salmon, also known as red salmon, are a personal favorite of my family, drawing us to the rivers every summer to fish for them.
