Similarly to Fish Creek, Graff Point was an influential fire for me, more than anything it was where I began to enjoy the work of being a wildland firefighter, the long hot days, the bonds formed between coworkers who become more like family.
As this fire progressed it was incredible to watch the way it escalated, the small puff of smoke that became a large column in a matter of hours. The beauty and power of a wildfire is something unmatched.
